About Us The Advanced Vein Center is a division of Oregon Surgical Specialists, one of the most prestigious general and vascular surgical practices in the Northwest. Our team of board certified, fellowship trained general and vascular surgeons are leaders in vascular, endovascular, oncologic, laparoscopic, endocrine, and general surgery. Coupled with our surgeon’s expertise is a dedicated staff of specialty trained nurse practitioners, technologists, and medical professionals. Advanced Vein Center Director Vascular, General, and Bariatric Surgery Dr. Traul earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his general surgery residency and Surgical Research Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he received high recognition as “Best Junior Surgical Resident.” He completed an additional Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Traul is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon.
Vascular, General, and Bariatric Surgery Dr. Street earned his undergraduate degree with distinction at Point Loma College in San Diego and his medical degree at the University of California at Davis. He completed his surgical internship, residency, and Chief Surgical Residency at UC Davis, as well. He completed a Vascular Surgery Research and Clinical Fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York. He is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery, with added qualifications in general vascular surgery. He holds memberships with the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Pacific Northwest Vascular Society, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Vascular and General Surgery Dr. Faught received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, earning both with academic honors. He served his internship and residency in general surgery at The University of Utah Medical Center and performed his Fellowship in Peripheral Vascular Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He has published multiple journal articles in the fields of general and vascular surgery. Dr. Faught is board-certified in general surgery, with added qualifications in vascular surgery. He is a member of the Pacific Northwest Vascular Society and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Vascular, General, and Bariatric Surgery Dr. Eaton earned his undergraduate degree with honors and a four-year athletic scholarship from Indiana University in Bloomington. He earned his Medical Degree with honors at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. As a senior medical student, he participated in a “Surgical Externship” at El Centro Medical National in Mexico City. He completed his surgical residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and affiliated hospital and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Eaton has published Transfusion Therapy, a Parkland [Memorial Hospital] Trauma Handbook and a scholarly paper on Incidental Splenic Injury During Abdominal Vascular Surgery in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. He is a board-certified surgeon with added qualifications in vascular surgery and Medtronic and Guidant Endovascular AAA Training.
Vascular, General, and Bariatric Surgery Dr. Castillo earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York and his medical degree from New York University Medical Center, where he also completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery. Dr. Castillo did his surgical residency at the University of Southwestern Medical Center’s Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He is a board-certified general surgeon and received added qualifications in vascular surgery. He received additional training in bariatric surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Parkland Surgical Society, and the International and National Societies for Cardiovascular Surgery as well as the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is also currently the Cancer Committee Chairman for the Joint Cancer Committee of Medford, Oregon. |
